The Bachelor of Science Nursing programme is designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to provide leadership in professional nursing practice, education, health care administration and participation in research. The graduates will be enabled to develop and integrate critical thinking and problem solving skills into the practice of nursing.

The program has had continued growth in student enrollment and staffing as well as classroom, offices, laboratory and other infrastructural expansion. Several cohorts have now graduated and are out in the market, both locally and internationally. To date(June 2023) three hundred and thirty-seven (337) students have graduated with Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree.

Currently there are four cohorts of BScN-Upgrading and five cohorts of direct entry students, with a combined population of four hundred and nine (409) students. DeKUT, School of Nursing produces all-round, highly competent graduates ready to excel in the diverse working environments.
